On the 22nd day of #TCRXmas I have the pleasure to welcome lovely Elle Field to my blog. Elle’s the author of three novels, and her forth, ‘Found’ will be released in spring 2016. Today she’s here to share her Christmas wish list and is also offering you guys a chance to win A PAPERBACK OF GELI VOYANTE’S HOT OR NOT. Yay! I’d like to thank Elle for visiting today and kindly donating a prize. Now, enjoy her post and make sure you enter the giveaway to win this super fun book.
All I want for Christmas, you say? Surely you mean Mariah Carey’s All I Want for Christmas Is You, the best Christmas song there is. (Who else it with me?) OK, Christmas songs aside – though, if you must know, I also really love Mariah’s Oh Santa, 8 Days of Christmas by Destiny’s Child and Wham’s Last Christmas – there’s not actually a lot I want for Christmas this year. But, I’m sure for the purpose of this post I could stretch my imagination and come up with a few wishes… if I really must!
First up, how about some snow? I can’t remember the last time that we had a white Christmas here in the UK, so it would be awesome to wake up on Christmas Day morning and see more than a mere sprinkle of snow quickly melting on the ground. I’m after enough snow to have a serious snowball fight and build a snowman army with, though if it could disappear after Boxing Day then that would be perfect – the roads and public transport tend to grind to a halt in the UK whenever we get snow!
Secondly, and maybe this is just my family, but a compete Christmas Day dinner would go down a treat. Whether it’s the crunchy honey-glazed carrots that haven’t been taken out of the oven and are only discovered burning in the oven after the desserts have been eaten, or the kilo of parsnips that are found in the fridge two days later, a Christmas Day dinner with all the trimmings would be lovely!
Finally, a guilt-free hour would be a wonderful Christmas Day treat. I always open lots of lovely books on Christmas Day but with all the eating, board game playing and Christmas movie watching, I have to be patient and can’t dive into my new books there and then. If I could have a guilt-free pass – perhaps when everyone else is playing Cranium, which is the worst board game in the world, if you ask me – then that would be a Christmas miracle!
Whatever you get up to this Christmas, I hope that you all have a wonderful festive season and I wish you all the best for 2016. Happy holidays! xx

'I think I will always be known as the Hot or Not girl, defined by it for the rest of my career. Even my tombstone will read: Angelica “Geli” Voyante, beloved trendsetter. Death? Not Hot.
Yet, it doesn’t sound right. Why won’t anyone realise that there is more to me than this fickle persona I have inadvertently become?'
Geli Voyante is bored of being the Hot or Not girl, even if it has the perk of sitting next to Theo, the newspaper's very Hot political columnist. She's also getting a little lonely being single.
When her arch-nemesis Tiggy Boodles gets engaged, and other loved ones start to settle down, it's time for Geli to convince Theo that she’s not as shallow as her column suggests and, more importantly, she’s the one for him. Geli should remember though that there are always two sides to every story, and that applies to people too...
Thanks to lovely Elle, we’re offering you guys a chance to win A PAPERBACK OF GELI VOYANTE’S HOT OR NOT. The giveaway is open internationally to 18+ readers (must be able to ship to a mailing address; no PO Boxes), and ends on 31th December. Winner will be contacted by e-mail or on twitter and will have 48 hours to claim their prize. If we don’t hear from them during this period, we’ll be drawing another winner from those who’ve entered. Best of luck, everyone!
