Posted October 29, 2015 by thischickreads in book news / 29 Comments

Hi guys,

today we have the pleasure to do a little book spotlight for one of our favourite American rom com writers, Lisa Becker. Lisa’s the author of the Click Trilogy, a series of hilarious rom coms we enjoyed and can definitely recommend. If you’re a fan of Sex and the City, then you’re gonna love Lisa’s Click trilogy. Lisa’s recently released her new novel ‘Clutch’, which as far as we now is a standalone and you can find it on amazon. I will leave you now with the blurb and also include buy links, as always. And, thanks to lovely Lisa we have a WONDERFUL giveaway, OPEN INTERNATIONALLY. What do we have on offer? A GORGEOUS LIME GREEN CLUTCH FROM PAPERTHINKS. Enter through rafflecopter and best of luck! Once again, many thanks to lovely Lisa for donating this amazing prize for you, our lovely blog readers.

Clutch: a novel is the laugh-out-loud, chick lit romance chronicling the dating misadventures of Caroline Johnson, a single purse designer who compares her unsuccessful romantic relationships to styles of handbags – the “Hobo” starving artist, the “Diaper Bag” single dad, the “Briefcase” intense businessman, etc. With her best friend, bar owner Mike by her side, the overly-accommodating Caroline drinks a lot of Chardonnay, puts her heart on the line, endures her share of unworthy suitors and finds the courage to discover the “Clutch” or someone she wants to hold onto.

In addition to clutch: a novel, Lisa Becker is the author of the Click Trilogy, a contemporary romance series comprised of Click: An Online Love Story, Double Click and Right Click.  She’s written bylined articles about dating and relationships for “Cupid’s Pulse,” “The Perfect Soulmate,” “GalTime,” “Single Edition,” “Healthy B Daily” and “Chick Lit Central” among others.  She lives in Manhattan Beach, California with her husband and two daughters.  To learn more, visit

I adore new bags! If it’s everyday, it must be big enough to carry my kindle……I can always find time for a sneaky 5 minute read! X

I like big bags so I can fit all my books and everything in them. I’m not one to buy designer bags. I’m too careless with my stuff to buy anything that nice.

I feel like if my purse is too big I’m forever digging for my car keys. I’ve downsized a lot in the past years.

  4. Lizzy Cooper

I wouldn’t say im addicted to bags as I only have about 2, I have a small one for going out and a big one for everyday! I’d like to make my tiny collection bigger though!! 🙂

I like a big bag. My current one seems like a bottomless pit, full of everyday useful items. I have stay 2 steps ahead of my family, as my son has ASD/ADHD, my partner has ADHD and we have 2 puppies, so have to be prepared for any number of meltdowns during the course of the day. But even with all the dog treats, handheld consoles and energy drinks stuffed in my bag, I still have room for my kindle and a paperback book! Sometimes, and very seldomly, I actually find 5 minutes to myself and indulge in a novel to take me to another place.

Bigger the better, i have to carry so much, i need all the space i can get. It sometimes feels like i’m carrying the Kitchen Sink around with me lol.
I would love to win this amazing giveaway! Thank you for the chance xxx

I prefer smaller bags and I do love larger bags but I find the bigger the bad the more I put in it which is nasty for my neck. I like Coach, Roots and love bags that last for years so I believe it is worth putting out the extra money for a bag.

I am typical woman – loving bags of all types. But from practically reasons I wear mostly big bags – totes. Thanks

Well, I’ve never admitted this before but I am a handbag addict! Any size, any shape, any color, any material, expensive ones, cheap ones, new ones, vintage ones-I adore them all! Thank you for the chance to win this lovely, vibrant clutch! I’m eager to read
