Good girls go to Heaven, bad girls go everywhere.’

What happens when the person you care about most literally sweeps the floor with you? What happens when you live all your life in someone else’s shadow? When do you realize that enough is enough?

Poppy is so perfect. She is the best in everything she does and everyone loves her. Except, she treats people like sh**t. Beth is her cousin and always lives in her shadow. Juliette is Poppy’s best friend since primary school. Imogen is her personal assistant. They all care about Poppy, but she cares for them only when she needs them. The big day is here, Poppy is getting married. Of course she gets the most gorgeous guy in the world and of course the wedding is perfect. But the other three women find themselves together in the lobby and wander howcome the bad girl always gets what she wants. And they decide it’s time for a change. No more good girls. It’s time for Bad Girls’ Club.

Stepping out of your comfort zone can be scarry. But the decision to turn another page in their life has been made and they don’t plan on turning back. Beth, Juliette and Imogen start the Bad Girls’ Club and every week they decide to do something that they wouldn’t normally do, like walking around with no underwear, buying sex toys, having sex on a public place, finally talking with that cute guy.

Three different women start the adventure of a lifetime. Putting themselves in such hilarious situations, they start the greatest friendship ever. Maybe buying sex toys is not the greatest adventure, but it’s definitely a start. They start learning to love themselves, as well as trust each other and finally seek from life what they deserve.

When good girls go bad, things tend to easily get out of control. The story is told from different POVs, each of these women sharing their perspective. I loved each of these characters, and they all made me giggle while reading their adventures. I love the way the characters are developed, they all mature and grow as the story follows. The author did a good job perfectly describing three very different characters, and I’m sure each of us can connect to at least one of these ladies. The story reminded me of an old song from 1989, “Good Girls Go To Heaven, Bad Girls Go Everywhere”.

Bad Girls ‘Club is an interesting and entertaining story that is very easy to read. It is my first book from this author, but definitely won’t be the last. Full of giggling moments, it’s the perfect beach read. The summer is almost over, but don’t let that stop you from reading this book.

My rating: 8/10
